If I use an enb my initial load time from when I click "continue" to when the game starts is about 10 seconds. If I add enbhost.exe to the skyrim folder, that load time increases to about 45 seconds. Load times while in game are increased as well (like opening a door to a new area, fast traveling, etc.) but other than that the game still performs just fine. And this is with enb profiles that do say to use enbhost, like Phinix for example. Any idea why my load times increase so much? My enblocal is configured correctly as far as I can tell. I've checked and rechecked several times. For now, i just delete enbhost.exe but I would like to use it if I can.

I can explain why, but this will not change anything. If you need ENBBoost feature, then live with it, otherwise ...

So, are you saying that's normal? There's nothing I can do to that will allow me to use enbhost without having very long load times? My system is good enough that I can run an ENB without enbhost but still.

How in the heck your system is linked to loading times? Is it so hard to understand that every changes can't be done for free? Seems longer loading times are more important than stability, okay, delete ENBoost, who cares.

Ok, let me rephrase: I did not realize that enbhost.exe caused much longer loading times because I couldn't find anyone asking about it on the forums so I thought it must be something I'm doing wrong. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't something simple that was wrong with my settings somewhere. I'm not complaining, I'm just asking questions because I want to understand better.

In short, when memory manager of ENBoost enabled, gigabytes of data moved to enbhost process instead of stored in game process, to achieve this i need to do a lot of procedures, this is not just memory copying performance (also because of game bug i need to check each texture before save).
