So I just went on vacation after 2 months of recording with ENB for FSX. (It looked great) I was planning on making some more videos using ENB but as i started up FSX, I noticed that the preview of the aircraft your going to fly was black. I thought it was strange so i picked my desired aircraft and hit Fly Now.

When I loaded in, It was completely black. The loading window was flashing and I could not see anything like before in the Preview of the aircraft on the Main Menu of Free Flight. Any Ideas? I'm really disappointed. I've heard bad things about removing the ENB Files so I don't want to do that. Any Help would be GREAT.

Final Note: It would be awesome if I didn't have to reinstall the game because I don't actually own it, It belongs to my friend but he let me install it on my Computer AND I have 100+ planes installed on FSX so it would take a while to reinstall those and or copy and paste em back in.

Drivers, their presets, other software running which hook in to graphics, antialiasing forced. Don't know what else, but for sure mod or game files corruption is not the cause.

So I just found this out:

My Cousin (Who is 11) Hated the ENB mod and removed it from my FSX Folder. Could that be the reason? He put it back in after seeing that the game "broke" so I'm sort of worried. Ideas?

He removed these Files: d3d9.dll enbseries.ini and the other enbseries file which i cannot remember off the top of my head.

This could be the reason. May be wrong version, not the the you have used.

Well i am using FSX SP1 and SP2...I think. What version of ENB should I try to download and for furture reference, is there a way to remove it without causing what happened to me?

FIXED:

I just made sure all drivers were updated and and I reinstalled SP1 AND SP2 just to be sure. Apparently the problem was that SP2 was messed up somehow causing it to go black.

One more question though, I have all the enbseries stuff almost copied into my Addon Scenery Folder(Which I did not do neither did my Cousin), Is that normal?
