Hi,

I'm using the RealVision ENB preset with almost all recommended mods as well as the optimized .ini files. I'm running the game at "High" settings. I have encountered several bugs that I would like to have some clearance on. I have googled on these but I have yet to find a solution.

1. The game crashes when loading a save after death. The source is ENB because if I uninstall ENB and still having all the mods the crashes no longer occur. It happens 100% of the time. Loading the saves manually also crashes the game. Loading saves when alive works just fine 100% of the times.

2. Alt + Tab out of the game and restoring by clicking on the Skyrim border and Alt + Tab causes the game to no longer respond. This does not occur if ENB is uninstalled and still having all the mods.

3. GPU fan speed is always > 70% and the activity is almost always > 85%. I know ENB is demanding but is it really that demanding when I have a really good GPU? I've heard rumours that ENB does not run as well on AMD cards as it does on Nvidia cards, is this the case? In the heaviest areas with a lot of grass and water I get 35-48 fps where others with Nvidia cards have 50-60 fps. Disabling the ENB in these areas I have 60 fps except for towns like Whiterun, Markarth and Solitude from certain viewpoints where I have 45-57. ENB drains the fps even more in these areas down to 25-35 making is very choppy.

It looks so amazing but with these framerates I'm not sure I can use it :/ Here are my specs (nothing is overclocked):

GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 280x Dual-X OC 3GB
CPU: AMD FX-8350 Octa Core 4.0GHz (Corsair Hydro H80i Water Cooler)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4)
Mobo: Asus M5A97 R2.0
PSU: Corsair RM1000W
SSD: Samsung 840 PRO Series 120GB
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 64 MB 7200 RPM
Chassis: Fractal Design R4
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit SP1 (7601)

Thanks!

You can use 0.262 version or you may need to tweak [MEMORY] category in enblocal.ini.
Try to disable driver memory manager. If EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks set to "true", you cannot restore the game to the fullscreen mode.

AMD GPUs are not fully supported because the developer just don't have one to test for many reasons.
I wonder why you need so much grass. If EnableDisplacement=true, you probably want to set it's quality to low. It's pointless to have very dense grass and very high quality water because you won't notice much difference how the game looks in your playthrough.

I am using version 0.262.

I will try the EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks later on today, thanks for the info! Still not sure about the load after death CTD though, I've tweaked the entire .ini file including the MEMORY variables to what all others have but it still crashes D:

Never heard about load after death issue and it actually can't happen, if bug is not in the game or one of the mods. Try ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false.
Performance of AMD videocards is lower, because some code is optimized for NVidia, this means that on AMD it runs as any generic. Also your cpu is very weak for gaming, only Intel cpu allow to show potential of videocards (basically, you are cpu limited in that low fps locations and it's not because of enbseries, but the game multithreading stupidity).
