Post subject:  Main menu....stuck?
Today I had messed up my Skyrim somehow and decided it was time for a clean re-install. I deleted everything and re-installed all my mods along with the enbseries and Realvision ENB preset.

Now, the problem is.....my main menu is stuck :| I can start up the game fine and the main menu works perfectly. The music plays, the smoke lingers in the background. I can even shift+enter to the enbseries menu and shift+tab to the steam menu. But the actual problem is, there is no cursor and nothing on my keyboard works to even load a file. I can't press enter so I have NO idea why this is happening. Would anyone here know if this is something to do with the enbseries?

I could really use help here because I couldn't find anything on google about this problem x_x.

Disconnect your gamepad or change this variable in SkyrimPrefs.ini to:
[MAIN]
bGamepadEnable=0

because this is the main reason you don't have almost any control over the game with your keyboard and mouse (until you open console or tweak Data\Interface\Controls\PC\controlmap.txt).

If it doesn't help, you may want to temporary disable antivirus software (it may block Skyrim to recognize your input) or do a complete reinstall again, but this time play the game without any mods. If you would have no problems, install ENBSeries, try playing the game again, then SKSE, play again, then one mod, play again, and continue to do like that one by one until you have same problems.

So I actually ended up figuring it out!

It ended up being a completely different problem entirely. When re-installing all of my mods, I wanted to have my Skyrim 2K texture mod have priority over the official hd texture pack I have installed. In the Skyrim.ini I changed the [Archive] section to have HighResTexturePack01.bsa etc. after the "Skyrim - Textures.bsa," line because I read that it worked somewhere. Removing those HighRes lines completely fixed the problem! :)

I'm glad it wasn't anything to do with the enbseries. Thank you for the advice! Installing my mods and checking in game for the problem really worked and helped me solve my problem. I hope everyone does the same if they experience a problem this bad ;)
