Hello,

I have a strange thing happening with ENBoost and SKSE.

I'm making a new install of skyrim following STEP and at the moment the only modifications made to vanilla are :

-Cleaned the update and DLC esms via TES5Edit
-Installed ENBoost (with the ini modifications to adjust VRAM and such)
-Made the SKyrim and SkyrimPrefs INI modifications

I tested at every step (launch the game, create new game and quit without saving after getting in the cart) and it works.
When I installed ENBoost it showed it's the last version v0265, recognizes my graphic card, ENBoost is on and the graphic modifications are disabled and I could create a new game without any problem.

Then I installed SKSE 1.7.1 and launched the game, I get the main menu, click on new game, get the loading screen and after a couple of seconds it crashes to desktop without any warning.

I removed the ENB files and tried again with SKSE : no problem at all.

So it seems that ENBoost and SKSE are both properly installed and play nicely alone but together they make my game crash when launching a new game (I don't have a save to test it on as it's a new install).

I use ENB Series v0265 (wrapper) and SKSE v1.7.1.
It's a new install but I already used this same computer with both at the same time (not sure it was the same ENB version though, it stopped playing in august last year) and it worked perfectly.

Does anyone have any idea of what could be the problem?

EDIT : SOLVED

In another forum someone had the same problem and solved it by updating Directx. As I just reinstalled windows I thought even tough I was pretty sure I had installed Directx it couldn't hurt so I tried that.
At first I didn't see any difference but then I had the idea to reboot my computer even though DirectX didn't ask me to do it after install and it completely solved my problem.

I'm letting this post here even tough it's "useless" just in case it can help someone else.

I have the same problem as you,but I solved it by download and copy the enbhelper.dll file to the Skyrim/enbseries directory。
