I have the latest version of enb series installed from the file "wrapper" when I try to load a save game it crashes to desktop. When I start a new game it runs just fine until I enter the first building, before it goes to the loading screen it CTD.

I found out that if I remove D3D9.dll from the directory the game runs fine, and I can load mu saves, but END and it's enhancements are disabled.
I am not sure how to get the alternative "injector" to run with mod organizer.
I have searched and tried numerous different fices and work arounds yet nothing works. The game runs without enb working or crashes due to D3D9.dll.
Any help is very much appreciated.

EDIT : my system specs are
I5 4690k
8gb ram
GeForce evga gtx 970 acx 2.0
Windows 10.

Try ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false. If it helps, bug in skse setting or another mod.

Ok thanks for the reply, I will try that when I get home.
Just for future reference I do not use skse and when I get rid of d3d9.dll the game runs fine with all my mods installed.

As it turns out it had already been set to false and still does not work.

I'm wondering if it's compatability issues with windows 10?

There are other win10 users running the game with the mod just fine. In general all bugs occur because of drivers (rarely for nvidia), crapware (search what is this in my posts) and overlays, antivirus, skse mods. In some cases when ENBoost memory manager was enabled for saved game and then mod removed, game won't load, this is because of bad code of the game engine or skse mods, but not your scenario. There are other similar reports with fixes, but i don't remember what exactly, because it's always because of other software, i can't remember any other culprits ever.

I was able to get it to work by editing some of the enblocal.ini
It was, I believe my vram setting.

However I got crashes with usedefferedrendering=true so I set it to false, some of the options are not available to me, but I do get others, which I am grateful for.

One problem I have now is the sun looks like a ball in the sky, no sunlight effect, just a glowing circle. I have just about every setting that will activate on. Not sure what's causing that, or the crashes for deferedrendering. Drivers are up to date, no crap ware running.

I'm thinking now that maybe some configuration files have been configured wrong...

All my config files are fine. I can start a new game, but crashes as soon as i enter the tower(first interior). Also still crashes when loading a game. IF i delete the d3d9.dll it runs. If i set deferredrendering to false it runs but missing most of the effects. I am at a complete loss. I will just delete v.279 from the system and move on. Not sure why this had to be so difficult.
