Post subject:  Skyrim CTD after isntalling ENB Clearvision
So I installed ENB today (exactly like said in the "manual") and it's crashing even before the Beteshda logo :(
When I open TESV.exe a small black window opens and it gives an error message instantly.

It's in dutch but that's just windows default error message (no reason).

that's when I run TESV.exe, but the same thing happens when I run Skyrim Launcher.exe.
I disabled all my "crapware" and checked loot and TES5edit and both don't give any errors.
When I uninstall ENB Clearvision or simly delete the d3d9.dll file from the skyrim folder the game does start up.
I already searched this forum but couldn't really find anything similar (and I tried the stuff that did look similar).
Already downloaded the (I think?: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... px?id=8109) needed DirectX. I'm lost:D

Happens mostly when Directx Runtime not installed or wrong SKSE memory patch setting are used. Rarely because of antivirus and screen capturing tools, lot of other software (i call them "crapware") which hooks in to game process. The link you have used for DX Runtime is correct.

I installed SKSE after I did the rest, is this a problem? Is there anything else I can do?

SKSE itself is not a problem. Better check my posts about "crapware", users have all the same issues.

Hmm, it seems to be working with the injector. I'll use that for now. Thanks for all your work :)!

Injector works only if crapware installed, so the problem is obvious.
