I have a working astronomy mod that uses real-world calculations to find correct sunrise/sunset/dawn/dusk settings, and the maximum height of the sun in the sky, based on the in-game day of the year and character location. It varies seasonally and as the character travels north/south, just like the real world.

With vanilla lighting everything works perfectly.

With ENB lighting the sunrise/sunset/dawn/dusk times work perfectly, but the effect is spoiled if I don't also correct the maximum height of the sun in the sky.

This is where the problem with ENB comes in. To make the sun position accurate I need to change fsunYextreme from its default value of 40 to anywhere from -50 to -2000. This stops sunrays from working and - more importantly - causes the night sky to be lit by an eternal half-light. I am using Vividian ENB, but I have done some research and found this is a known issue with any ENB preset when the fsunYextreme value is changed significantly.

I'd like to solve this problem before releasing the mod, but if nobody can help with a solution then I will release the mod soon anyway in the hope that someone with more expertise about ENB will like it and possibly help.

So, any suggestions?

Thanks,
-m

Sorry, any manipulations with sun movement/direction will broke ENBSeries functionality and it's unfixable, because i'm using sun and sky hemisphere for various things.
