For the first time ever, I am experiencing the ugly weapon transparency of the bygone Fallout era in Skyrim. It is very slight, but I can definitely notice the transparency when next to objects or actors. Is there a setting in enblocal or enbseries.ini that deals with this? I swear I've tried everything.

I am using an older ENB, 0.221, but that is what the ENB I use demands. I'm sorry for the brevity of my post, but I've been up all night trying to fix this and it is now almost 7am. I can provide more detail when I wake up if needs be. Thanks for any help.

No. It's not transparency, it's ambient occlusion applied or any other depth depentent effects. First person models drawed in game world as very huge and their depth data is scaled accordingly.

Oh, how can I stop the transparency effect then? Turning off ambient occlusion and DOF did not stop the transparency.

Actually based on what you said, I figured out what causes it. Turning off AmbientOcclusion and ImageBasedLighting stops the transparency. This is nice, but losing the colors and shadows from Ambient Occlusion is tragic. Is there a way to stop this transparency without dropping Ambient Occlusion ?

No, it's game specific issues, all you can try is to find mod which scale down first person models or try other versions of ENBSeries, where i tried via masking to reduce effects on first person models.
