I cannot get New Vegas to start up with d3d9.dll present. It crashes immediately similar to a missing master. I just reinstalled Windows 7 64-bit and copied my old installation over, and this crash occurs. I have seen this before but forget how to fix it, so it may be something simple. Any suggestions? I have a 980 Ti with older drivers from July 6 2016.

Install DirectX Runtime Standalone of june or jule 2010 from M$ web site

Ah yes that was it! I figured there was a simple download I needed after a fresh install of Windows. I thank you.
