Hi,
I noticed an issue with the new SkyrimVR ENB last night and my mod 'Be Seated'. My mod uses a 'fade screen to black' effect but with ENB enabled this effect no longer works. It's not a hand made effect and uses only vanilla parts of the game so I'm guessing there is a bug somewhere which could also effect other areas of SkyrimVR and not just my mod.
Mod link here in case you wanted to test:

If you need anymore info just give mea shout.

Cheers

Cy.

I guess your fade to black is simply adjusting brightness in post processing, but entire post process code of the game is ignored by almost all presets people did (enbeffect.fx shader). You can try older version of the mod (not 0.336) and if issue exist, it's definetly this kind of problem. Even if i make part of code from original post processing in my default files, this will not change anything to modders who already did presets without game math. The best i can do in this situation is to move just brightness related math somewhere before or after enbeffect.fx to make it hidden inside the mod, but if i remember, game do apply changes to parameters not just because of brightness, but many factors from weather. Maybe i'm mistaken and in SkyrimSE/VR things are different (code different a little at least). And the problem if i'll do such code, some presets which do use post processing of the game (partially too, like vampire or khajiit vision) will have doubled brightness or darkness, which is not good as well. Anyway, first i want to hear about results with old version of the mod.

EDIT: forgot to tell, i dont know how to see your mod in action, nothing different happen to usual sitting on the chair in tavern of Riverwood.

You couldn't get the mod to work? Odd, if the file 'BeSeated.esp' is in your data folder and activated in your plugin file with the script 'BeSeated.pex' in your scripts folder it should work whenever you activate a chair of any type. As soon as you activate a chair you should see the screen fade to black and a degbug message show.

I have put this mod as usual in Data folder and started the game. I dont know how to activate script or what other things i should do, but in tavern can't see any difference. You should tell me if older versions of the mod have this issue or not, because if they do, i doubt that can help, described why in the previous message (unless will do another post pass internal shader and you tell users to activate it, but at cost of performance i doubt anybody will use it).

Thanks for the reply, still not sure why the mod doesn't work for you though  Anyway - I'll try the older version of the mod as you suggest and get back to you. If not maybe I can change how my mod "fades to black".

If you can modify parameters which are used for vampire/khajiit vision to fade image, then this can work better, people will be interested to put such parameters in their presets and some even have them already. But i dont know if you can modify them.
