No idea, can't even think out any reason for this bug. And i don't have it., so can't test myself.

Hello, I'm new to modding, ENB, and this forum so I apologize if necro'ing old thread isn't tolerated.
However, after searching for long hours on the internet, the OP of this thread is describing exactly the problem I'm having on Skyrim LE. I disabled every single mod I have, and the culprit seems to be ENB (changed presets, still happens). I don't have the problem all the time, but randomly, my torch won't light up grass at certain camera angles.
Was a fix ever found ? Is there a parameter change that can be done ?

As i answered to another user, if don't have bug then can't fix it. Only thing i know is skyrim le or skyrim se (or both) have bug with lights on game load when torch is lit on last save and i can't fix that thing, it's game issue.

Further testing seems to indicate that it's actually when there are other light sources around (firecamps, pyres, or even spells) that lighting on complex grass (and only on complex grass) deactivates.
No way to do anything about the light source numbers on enb's side ?

If i remember, set limit of lights on grass to 16 to avoid performance waste. Maybe that's a reason. Or maybe game turns off lights.

Sorry if it's a stupid question, but is there a parameter in ENB that i can tweak to raise this 16 lights limit ? I really don't have performance issues so it'd be great to test out.

Nope, this is internal code limitation which can be increased only if i would do changes.
