Hi. I've been having some pretty big issues with ENB for awhile now, no matter what profile or settings I download from skyrimnexus, my game looks ridiculously too bright. I've done the necessary change in mydocs/mygames/skyrim/skyrimprefs.ini and reinstalled the entire game, loaded with no mods and still got the same results.

Ive managed to play around with some of the settings in the enb files and reduce the problem but then the lighting just looks gray, dull and overall worse than vanilla.
Im hoping its not a simple setting issue as I cant see how all these different profiles end up having the same problem.

I've also had to disable the DOF but as I understand that is a known issue with Crossfire users. (I have a 4870x2)

Anyway, here are the screenshots, first two are ENB enabled, last one is ENB disabled.

Any ideas?

Have you tried disabling CF? Also try setting EnableAdaptation to false in enbseries.ini.

Disabling adaptation did it, thanks a lot man.

Turning CF off does it too, i hadnt mentioned it cause my fps takes a proper shit when I do that. Buy a dual GPU card they said. I've had so much shit go wrong thanks to crossfire in the last 4 years its insane.

Ok so I've managed to figure out settings that work out for my system without disabling adaptation mainly in enbeffect.fx regarding max adaptation values, for some reason I've had to increase them about 10-15x to what they were in many of the different profiles I downloaded + reduce direct lighting drastically, idk.. just happy it works :)

Thanks again!

No worries, glad to help. SLI and CF setups are all good as long as they work, but they can have quite a bit of problems especially on AMD side due to crappy drivers.

Just so that you know, some users have noticed flickering issues with adaptation as well - if you do too, disabling adaptation completely will probably help.

Thanx for the tip. I have the same problem and you point me in the right direction. Gonna fiddle with those settings.
