ENB for Flight Sim on HD 7970 with Eyefinity?

Hi,

I hope this is the right section to post this. I have been using the enb mod (v 0.075) in FS9 for a long time with an Nvidia card and under Windows XP. I never had any problems and I love the effect - I use the mod for colour correction and a subtle amount of bloom and shading. Makes the simulation look much more real!

Now I moved to a computer with Windows 7 x64 and I start to have problems. My Graphics card was not working so I replaced with an AMD HD 7970 and I use that with two large monitors in an 2x1 EyeFinity configuration. With the enb mod, I often get crashes where the d3d9.dll is the fault. I do not have any MSI afterburner running (I know that can give some incompatability).

I have two questions.

1) What is the best version of the enb mod to use with FS9 and Windows 7 x64. I realise that the version of d3d9.dll with windows is mroe new than the one from the 0.075 mod and I wonder if this can have an effect?

2) If I cannot use the d3d9.dll, can I use the injector method? If so, where do I put the files from the injector? In a folder of their own or in with the simulator? Also, in this case, which version would you recommend?

Thanks,
Geoff

Hi
Injector is not working with old versions of the mod like you are using. But it will not help at all, issue is in the mod, it not support multiple displays, not designed for that and i am unable to test (have only single display). So, there is no solution.

Thanks for the reply. I knew that there was a problem with dual monitors but had not thought that it effected the setup when it was spanning (as opposed to extended desktop).
I think I understand the issue now. Before I used a Matrox TripleHead2Go device to make the two screens into one, but now I use the EyeFinity on the AMD card. With the TripleHead2Go, the enb mod worked perfectly, but now it must be that Windows / drivers are treating the setup differently and the dual screen problem is happening.

Luckily, it looks as if the SweetFX mod is working ok - that does not give such good colour correction or bloom effects as enb but it's better than nothing.
