Re: Godrays bug with "ForceFakeVideocard"/Black Shadows with

Damn, 0.113 or fakevideocard messes with shadows, making them "sharp" and "pixelated" so I reverted back to 0.123, and no fakevideocard.
I checked it on Windows XP 32 bit. Works (well, to be accurate "Doesn't work") exactly the same.
I thought that maybe I can fix it by lowering GammaCurve, but no luck.
GammaCurve: 1.0 (default)

GammaCurve: 0.5

The shadows look fine from some distance, but they get that dark, when I come closer.
EDIT: Same after downgrade to 12.4 catalyst. Also, it's the same indoors, so it's not skylight problem.

Trying ENB 121212. Disabled ForceFakeVideoCard, still getting the moon smearing like others. I'm running Win7 x64. This started in 123, and was not fixed in 121212. Considering the phenomenon is only present when using the new ENB versions, I don't see how it could be my video drivers. It's an ENB bug.

Any modded textures for the moon?
Did you try ENB with vanilla Skyrim?

Goliatron
By smearing, do you mean artifacts around the moon against the clouds? I get that too, but I suspect it's a completely unrelated problem.

Re: Godrays bug with "ForceFakeVideocard"/Black Shadows with

This is not enbseries bug, there are many hardware, many setups of it, many mods installed and only i developing the mod for vanilla game unmodified with most stable driver versions. The same with other mods, if they are developed for specific game, they should be compatible with other mods, check all combinations require a lot of time and effort and modders are not company with 1000+ persons, so the forum and replies from other users is in fact the only way to fix issues like you have.

Re: Godrays bug with "ForceFakeVideocard"/Black Shadows with

i have the same problem

i am using Quite Cool 1.4 Enb (the 2.0 doesn't look realistic to my eyes) with Project Reality

latest ENB 0.119 and ati catalyst drivers

I have an ati 7970 vga

when ForceFakeVideocard=false

the daylight intensity was quite low and had issues with very black shadows; also, suddenly and randomly they appear/disappear.
but the face skin and shadows from far looked real

Image [Image Image

when ForceFakeVideocard=true

fixed the light and shadows issue but now doesn't look so much real the casting shadows of the objects (shadows looks uniform and gray color) and the charactes face looks like foggy

Image Image

how i can fix it? i would like more contrast and less foggy but more sharp effect..

for the pitch black shadows i solved

EnableSkyLighting=false

or

AmbientMinLevel=0.5

now i should increase the sky/ambient light

How many times should i say that ForceFakeVideocard is obsolete and not working properly in all versions except 0.103 and lower?
