Skyrim crashes on startup

Hi.

Im running Skyrim with ENB and it crashes on startup. Ive tried starting with and without SKSE, with and without any other mods, it still crashes.

I have an i7 at 3.40ghz, an HD6950 and 8gb of 1800mhz RAM.

Any ideas why its crashing?

Are you using v1.05 injector ? Boris said it's optimized for Nvidia drivers and might not work with AMD\ATI .. it doesn't work with my 5870 either. Try the earlier 1.04 or 1.03 instead.

Hm. With the 1.03 I managed to get into the main menu, but I can't load a game. It crashes (CTD) a few seconds into loading.

Edit1: Also tried with the antiFREEZE patch now, didnt help.

Edit2: Without SKSE it starts and runs smoothly using the 1.03 injector. So SKSE is incompatible for my configuration. Any known fix?

Try moving your Skyrim.ini & SkyrimPrefs.ini and letting the game recreate them. Then change your settings back. I've had the wierd CTD at main menu happen before after long ENB experimenting sessions.. hope this helps
