Re: Project Parallax - False textures + Unbelievable Grass C
It's your cpu can't handle it, amd specific bottleneck. There is no solution, except intel cpu (overclocking scale this for intel in linear way).

Re: Project Parallax - False textures + Unbelievable Grass C
I would not be surprised if that were true. I'll look after specific events when running all the mods + The grass mod at once with a few monitoring tools. I'm not going to upgrade my CPU just for Skyrim, so if it were true, I'll try overclocking my CPU even further. I assume it won't matter much, so I'll have to deal with it for a couple of yearsENBSeries wrote:It's your cpu can't handle it, amd specific bottleneck. Overclocking do not help much, it's good for intel cpu only with this bottleneck, this was tested by 30+ users here (unfortunately thread was deleted automatically, had wrong forum setting) and at stock frequentcies intel have 3 times higher performance. All amd around 8 fps (mine too), intel 21-24 and 29 with something around 4.5ghz overclocking. I don't know what exactly is slow, seems some kind of latency, only lowering amd cpu frequency give very noticable result. Anyway, this bottleneck is only annoy in games with lot of objects drawed separately (like gtasa, gta4), nothing horrible.

Haha, I'm not surprised at all. I regret buying an FX-8350, I'll never buy AMD processors again, if they're for gaming rigs. I'm running at around 20-25 fps so it's not THAT bad. Could be a lot worse on my laptop (:P)
