I am trying to install Kountervibe Extensive. It will launch fine without 0.199 d3d9.dll, but running with it causes



1. Launcher to stop working and crash

2. Launch game, Launcher+Skyrim window both stop working and crash

3. Exiting launcher causes it to stop working.



This is ridiculous, this is the only mod for me where the d3d9.dll crashes the game, Realistic Hope and K ENB extensive worked fine.



This is on a CLEAN INSTALL with no other mods.


I tried installing the injector(as reccomended by mod creator), but the ENB doesnt show up in game(I dragged the .exe and the enbinjector.ini to main folder, is this wrong? I use default directories)

specs:

i7-3930k
Radeon 7950 w/most recent beta drivers
8GB RAM
Skyrim on 180gb 520 SSD

Other software prevent working.

I tried restarting then running Skyrim, same issue.

This seems to be a very isolated problem, have you seen other instances where this was the issue?

All i have open is libraries, steam, firefox, Winrar, and notepad

EDIT: Tried booting with all programs scripted to run at start turned off, ran skyrim, still same issue.

It's all the same story, search which software hooking in to game process, otherwise it's drivers (antialiasing forced f.e.).

There is no software hooking in, I just ran a boot with nothing but essential processes loading, booted skyrim first thing, same issue.

I will look into my drivers.

Driver settings all said "Application settings", same problem.

Ran launcher as admin, it works perfectly, good job Boris!

Can you explain in details what os do you have and may be why only under admin rights it is running? Sounds for me as antivirus f* around or other "defender".

The problem is most likely a unexpected one "Logitech Gaming Software" As that is what it was for me !

Also for afterburner users, alot of the time you CAN shut down AB and there will still be RTSS or RTSShooks still running in your taskmanager... those will crash your ENB also.. <Riva Tuner Statistics Server>
