Screen-Space errors past 0.236 on R9-270

Hey to all, long timer lurker, and decided to post because I can't seem to figure out what is wrong with the later version of ENB (also, sorry if in posted in wrong place). Hoping someone might know something or maybe I missed something. (Also, sorry for the links to images, I forgot to scale them down from HD, so direct Img will take all over the screen).

Systems:
GPU: Radeon R9-M270x (current Drivers, 14.12)
CPU: i7-4500
HDD: Standard Non-SDD
OS: Windows 8.1 x64

This is what the game looks like on Vanilla, no ENB enabled, default Skyrim settings.

Code: Select all

This is also the default Water, again, nothing special, just what it looks like.

Code: Select all

Now here is where things get tricky for me, I have no idea why, but updates after 0.236 (except for 0.261 - which also worked), every single version starts giving me screen-space effect issues, the issues which I will show below.

This is with ENB enabled, as you can see, everything looks OK.

Code: Select all

But wait a minute, whats this!?

Code: Select all

http://i.imgur.com/3IRIrg8.png
As soon as I move (no, I'm not joking, if I stop looking at the mountain at 45* Angle, and look even a little bit off), the game will start 'burning' or 'layer' the same screen that I last looked at over-time.
This is what my clouds or any other 'soft transparency' effect looks like after about 10 seconds. They either become dark, or black.

Now you might say I'm imaging stuff, that I'm a silly man, and yes, I am silly, but I'm not joking about the game/ENB starts burning the last picture I looked at over-time.

Code: Select all

http://i.imgur.com/Fwv3oLI.png
http://i.imgur.com/aItJ7LF.png
As you can see, at the edges of the mountain, the trees are ghosting, they making a screen-texture layer of them.

To make it even more clear, last thing I looked at was the Riverwood Village, and very quickly, I put my camera on the Water, and I get the image burn as last time.

Code: Select all

http://i.imgur.com/YceLFGC.png
If I reset my ENB (enable/disable) and just look at the water, it looks fine for the first few seconds, but over time, it gets brighter on the caustics effect, until it becomes pure white. This is what 10 seconds looking at water is like.

Code: Select all

http://i.imgur.com/8ql25Mx.png
To make it even more clear how the effects 'burns and ghosts', here is an image.

Code: Select all

https://i.imgur.com/81yAW6d.png
It looks as if the Screen-Space reflection is having some update-rate issues (the game was running at 60FPS at this time - FPS capped with ENB).

Quick image to show that during all this time, SSS isn't working. Enable or disable AlphaTexture doesn't change anything.

Code: Select all

http://i.imgur.com/1DpZyB1.png
Now here is the second tricky part, ALL of these problems (SSS is a different issue, it doesn't work no matter what) are fixed when I disable the Water function in ENB.

Code: Select all

http://i.imgur.com/IKpUTUi.png - Off
http://i.imgur.com/vgU8SHU.png - On
Clouds, Mists, everything that have that ghost issues are fixed when I disable Water.

And here is another weird issue, the skin (models which can have SSS), burn red/yellow in the Water.

Code: Select all

http://i.imgur.com/GIV6Ewk.png
Does this mean SSS is working? I don't know, SSS never works no matter what I try, but if I look at an object (like human body) that 'can' have SSS, and I look back at the Water, you will get that bleed effect.

However, if I look at the Clouds and other soft transparency models, the red burn, will turn blue.

Code: Select all

I haven't tried checking if AO and DOF work since I was trying to figure out this amazing problem that I'm having. Also, other then enable/disable certain options, the ENB is vanilla, I'm not using any Nexus settings, just the default stuff with default Skyrim (no mods).

I have tried most solutions: I have reset the .INI files, I have used both the Wrapper and Injector version of ENB, I have cleaned out my Drivers and fresh installed + disabled all Driver manager options, I have tried using RadeonPro Program (but it gives me Yellow screen with ENB) and I have run ENB-Host and Skyrim under compatibility mode Win-7. I don't know if there is a solution, but hoping someone might throw a bone in my direction.

Cheers in advance!

If you really don't have any non official files and no effect.txt, then it's wrong skyrimprefs.ini (i never saw such alpha blending bug) or some application affect render state (crapware, overlays, drivers). In case of missing textures (because of incorrect memory manager options) this not happen, but i don't know how amd drivers react on that, so make sure that ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=false while looking for bug. ForceFakeVideocard=false must be set or not exist in the enblocal.ini, it's obsolette.
Here is mine skyrimprefs.ini, try it

Thanks for the help, I tried the advice but I guess it's a Driver issue between AMD and the latest ENB as you said (236 is the only one that work for me, and I think 264 or 261 were the special cases as well, not sure why).

PS: If I enable AO, it helps with the bug, but it makes the bugs (like the water one) completely black or very dark. It only works if I set the AO amount 5+, anything below doesn't work.

Cheers and thanks for the help.

It's not drivers. I have AMD and I have no bugs like that at all and never have.
