Mornin'. I'll try and keep the English simple.

Can ENBSeries have a feature where the game's UI is rendered at a higher resolution than everything else? Example for this is Neverwinter (the MMO).

Reason for asking is I enjoy the look of lower resolutions (Nostalgia. It reminds me of the cut-scenes in old games, like Baldur's Gate) but lowering the resolution from the game's options includes the UI, which can wreak havoc.

Just in case folk think that there is a hidden motive behind the request, I'm more than capable of running Skyrim at high resolutions; Phenom II x4 965 BE @3.4GHZ + AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB GDDR5. It's just that I like the pixelated look.

Another request: Is it possible to implement dithering and rendering fewer colours? I'm looking for retro-ish rendering; those two features would be supreme. When forcing TesV.exe to use 256 colours, it's ignored. Same for setting desktop to 16 bit.

There is an example for Oblivion that does this (Using OBGE). Video, OBGE shader link.

Thanks in advance.

Isn't it simpler to use effect.txt shader like "dos mode"?

Ah, I didn't know about that.

However, it screws up the UI. Just like lowering the resolution.

Is it possible to render the UI @ higher resolution than everything else?

It can't do anything to UI if applied not to generic game with generic mod. If you want generic, then there is no solution, interface can't be scaled absolutely in any game, only ignoring by processing before it will help (so exclusive version or some kind of smart automatic).

That's a bummer.

Would it be hard to implement for Skyrim?

Implement what? Bigger UI? Impossible from my side, it's must be made by those modders, who did interface replacements. I repeat, use shader which make fake vision of low resolution and other artifacts.

What I meant was, would it be possible to render the UI at one resolution, and the rest at another.

Seeing as how that is probably too much work...

Is it possible to not affect the UI with the dos shader?

This became very annoying to me. How in the hell ui affected by shader in skyrim? Show me any screenshot where ui affected. And i said twice, ui modification IMPOSSIBLE from enbseries, it's not just graphic elements.

My apologies; I haven't access to my main computer so I viewed a video of what I THOUGHT was ENB's dos shaders. Got it mixed up with Enhanced Shaders.

Agh well. I'll give it a shot once my power supply comes back. Tah for your time.
