Is there any way to improve ENB's ability to know the Skyrim game time, especially while indoors? I find that often it is wrong about this, so when it is 1pm in-game the InteriorDay settings have no effect while InteriorNight are in effect instead. This means in practice I must compromise all interior settings so that Day and Night are almost the same, because if they are too different then there is (for me) too great a risk that ENB will use the wrong one at the wrong time and it will look terrible (i.e. bright glowing windows inside while it is night outside). For exteriors I understand that it looks at the sky fill color and the thresholds (default 0.25, 0.65) to guess at the game time, and this works okay but is still imprecise; the Statistics always shows that ENB's time is wrong from actual game time by an hour or more at some times of day. Is there a plugin that can read the game time and relay it directly to ENB somehow so that it can always be exactly correct and not have to guess based on sky color or whatever? |

Helper mod give precise time (read included description). For exteriors without helper mod time is always precise, for interiors impossible. |

Ah, I didn't know the weather helper mod also handled time, but that makes sense. Looking at that mod though, I wonder if there's an easier way to do it; can ENB only detect these special objects that are placed around the player, or could it access things that are easier to set from the game scripting environment, such as ActorValues? |

I'm not touching anything from game process, including it's scrypting, it's illegal. The only way to get precise time is helper mod or sun direction. |
