Post subject:  SuperSampling Skyrim

I am using Nvidia Inspector to try and enable MSAA or Supersampling. But Sadly it seems to have no visual impact. I set displaysupersamplingresolutions in the enblocal ini to true. Anyone using inspector care to post a screenshot of their settings since I have been unable to find one that works via google thus far. Thanks.

What do you need this setting for? Are you using a specific ENB?

Need a little more info and please list your specs for further assistance.

Cheers.

You can not use any hardware AA with Skyrim ENB, (i.e. no MSAA or SSAA) unless you set UseDefferedRendering=false in ENBlocal.ini. Note that this also prevents you from using ENB's ambient occlusion and some other effects.

The SuperSamplingResolution feature, however, may be used along with UseDefferedRendering=true. If you enable SupersSamplingResolution in enblocal, this just adds a new resolution to your Skyrim launcher that is 4x your monitor size, i.e. 3840x2160 for a 1920x1080 monitor. You can then select to play with this resolution which is automatically downsampled to your screen resolution, effectively simulating ordered grid supersampling AA. However, it will significantly affect your performance. It is also recommended that you reduce your SSAO and Reflection size scale values when using supersampling resolution, as these are also effectively multiplied by the larger screen resolution.

Tapioks I love your FONV ENB. Thanks for the great work!
