I'm trying to make my own ENB Config with a very minimalistic profile
I mean: I've just added the d3d9.dll and the enbhost.exe (v0.279), then I've started the game, so ENB have created all [*]by default[*] files.

Then I've added enbeffect.fx and enbbloom.fx from a different ENB configuration, but I notice immediately that whatever parameter I change from Procedural Sun, nothing will happen, just the glow and the corona from SKY section was working, and go figure if Rays can work :?

I've also replaced the enbeffect.fx with the default one, but nothing change.
Now that I'm writing came to me the idea which the 'cause can be the PureWeather mod, could it be ?

Please Help me 'cause I've lost 3 days on this problem and my head will explode soon :|

First of all check if you don't have issue with sun visiblity through the walls (if so, it's crapware), this is the most common problem and simplest validation process. Then enable ambient occlusion visualisation and turn it on off course, check if it properly drawed according to scene geometry, if it not displayed properly, then could be crapware or bFloatingPointRenderTarget=1 is not set in all skyrimprefs.ini files (mod manager dublicates file).
If all these steps passed, disable weather system and under each category of editor turn it off too for testing. Adjust sun intensity, if you see it increases/decreases as expected, then turn on procedural sun and try to tweak parameters of it, but use parameters from my default preset as base values. I know that some mods which alter sky/sun do not work, especially if sun path on the sky is modified, but it's simple to find out by disabling mods or using any other preset which should have rays visible. Btw, rays also depending from shadow properties, because shadow used for masking image outside of screen, may be game ini tweaks may cause incompatiblity (never heard about this).

Thank you very I've literally dismounted my mod list piece by piece, and finally I've got the point, I guess it was a combination of crapware plus a custom enbeffect.fx which was messing with Day/Night transition, so maybe it put hand also on the Sun.

Problem solved ( for now  )
