As I am aware, one should disable FixAliasedTextures in enblocal.ini when using SMAA. Is this also true if one uses FXAA?

FixAliasedTextures is for different purposes and do not interfere with fxaa, smaa or anything else.

Thanks! That I did not know. So just to be clear, S.T.E.P. is wrong and I can in fact keep it enabled when using either SMAA or FXAA?

Go to the snow areas near rocks and try yourself with that parameter on/off. I have no idea what is written in STEP guide, just answering what is inside the mod.
