Hello,

Water-lod reflection and general aspect seems to be greatly affected by negative LODBias value in enblocal.ini

Below screens are with graphic modifications disabled :
LODBias = 1
Image

LODBias = -2
Image

As you can see, the water lod look "noisy". Is there a known workaround in Skyrim's regular configuration's files ?

I haven't messed a lot with actual enbseries water effect, maybe there is something to fix it in here as well, but as far as I remember, I've always had this issue no matter the preset installed.

Just in case : This is 100% water-lod. "normal" water aren't seen on screenshots.

Any tips appreciated.

P.S. : Water mod is the one found here : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13268/?

You can't do anything about this. I can make code to ignore lod bias for all textures of water, but it will not do anything useful, because lod bias itself is useless parameter requested only for negative values, so it works as requested and those folks will come back to kill me if i touch something.

Ok, thanks for the answer. In case you're bored one day, I wouldn't mind a "LODBiasIgnoreWater" parameter to test with, but nothing important ^^

Just for information, disabling "per space water noise" with skyrim's parameter fix this, but make all normal water look bad so it can't be used.

This is a setting in Skyrim.ini (not SkyrimPrefs)

Code:
[Water]
bUsePerWorldSpaceWaterNoise=0

Default is 1, adding this line with 0 will disable it.

You can see a comparison here : http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Skyr ... WaterNoise

Not exactly sure what it do in technical details.

Such parameters must not exist for any normal game. Please do not turn it off, mod will not work properly.
