Sorry for my stupidity here, but I'm trying to add mods to my skyrim game and to make it look very nice, it needs ENB 0.305+. I have a previous version already installed and I had thought updating it would be as simple as downloading new files from the download site and moving them into the skyrim folder to replace the old ones. Now there is some sort of injector tool? I downloaded it, extracted it into my skyrim folder with the TESV.exe and ran the injector application and it said to edit the .ini, but I think that the applications were already in the .ini? and then it said to run this injector which had me confused and run the game then close out of both? My interpretation of that was to open the application that had those instructions then run skyrim and close out of skyrim and then close out of the injector. Nothing happened in game that gave me any indication that it worked, especially considering it says the old version on the top left. Where am I messing up here?

What version were you running earlier? Iif the earlier wrapper version was working then you don't need to or even should use the injector. Updating could have been as simple as copying the new d3d9.dll to Skyrim folder. Are you using a pre-made preset or something that you made yourself? You can either a) download the preset again, clean your Skyrim folder from all ENB related stuff and reinstall the preset again following the instructions given by the preset author, or b) just copy the new dll to the Skyrim folder, launch the game without running the injector and see whether it works.
