"Spooky" at semi-distant LOD
Not spooky at a closer distance.

I'm not sure how to circumnavigate this. The only thing I can think of is reducing the contrast between AO/Ambient Light and Direct Light to the point where the trees are no longer "spooky".
This, however, would reduce the light/dark contrast everywhere else to the point of sadness and unfulfilled dreams.

I'm new to this ENB thing, but I'm learning relatively fast! : D

Also, I think I may write my own mini-documentary about creating ENB stuff on the Nexus to help people who want to but are daunted by the settings menu. Go over some basics like the Environment menu, Sky menu, etc. and the best way to start from scratch. Would that be a good idea or redundant work?

Trees at a medium distance have strange lighting. It's like some of the branches don't receive shadows or something. My links to the pictures should still be live.

Modifying the Vegetation SSS settings by a lot got me closer than any other solution I tried. Thanks.
