[Skyrim SE] Unnatural Dark Shadows Everywhere (Need Help)

I don't fully understand what each individual ENBSeries setting does, but no matter the area, time of day, etc I have these dark shadows on everything. Does anyone know which setting(s) I can alter to reduce these shadows to something more subtle?

That's SSAO, screen space ambient occlusion.

First thing you should do is to disable the game's own SSAO, it's under [SSAO_GAME] in the in-game ENB pane.

Then if the shadows still look too dark, reduce AOIntensity under [SSAO_SSIL], that's ENB's own vastly superior AO/IL. Feel free to play with the other params as well until the shadows look good to you.

Turned off the game's SSAO and everything looks great now. Thank you so much for the help!
