Re: [poll] TES Skyrim
I'm not a coder, but downsampling should not be very hard to implement, since it's pretty simple... it just renders the image in a higher resolution, and then scales it down to the target resolution. It's a pretty crude and unefficiant way of AA, because it renders everything on the screen in high-res but it works with every game (at least if it supports the resolution) and looks AWESOME! =) Add SMAA and you have a brilliant picture...
And, provided you have a powerful enough card, you CAN play pretty well with it. In Skyrim I get roughly around 40 frames downsampling from 2720x1700 to 1920x1200, HQ-Bloom, SSAO and SSIL with 2xSSAA, 16xHQAF and SMAA on a OCed 7970.

Re: [poll] TES Skyrim
I'd rather that you would choose deferred, as AA can be neglected compared to having an improved ENB profile
Can't wait to see what you put out

Re: [poll] TES Skyrim
Have you considered adding in support for SMAA as both a normal post-processing AA and one using temporal samples? Integrating the normal version would likely work better than using an external injector, and the temporal version would improve quality beyond that of plain MSAA. The problem, of course, is that a temporal AA effect would require a good initial framerate to look right - but wouldn't a deferred rendering system work faster to begin with?

How about asking them politely for permission? It's in their interest to advertise it. I'm pretty sure they would even thank You for such opportunity!ENBSeries wrote:I can't develop smaa because of it copyrights.

Re: [poll] TES Skyrim
No, i even trying to keep out from fxaa, any existing code is not interesing, laziness control me in such case and will find 10 other reasons not to implement this. For example, users apply fxaa mod with fxaa available in video options, so smaa in my mod would change anything for most of players

Re: [poll] TES Skyrim
Is the deffered rendering going to give us performance boost? Or is it deffered only for certain shaders.
Also, are those reflections from gallery have something in common with IL?
