Yeah and explains why it was darker with the ENB than it was supposed to, glad got that one sorted.
Btw those LODs look amazing.
Though I never liked some trees of AOF treeLOD, some don't blend that well with SFO. SFO treeLOD looks fine enough though it does bother me sometimes if there is too clear transition point, it really seem to depend what ENB you are using.
The coming week looks interesting.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25
It does
Well certain grass type (not hand placed ones but generated with the ground textures) and the tree LOD's are affected by the DirectLighting setting and then ambient lighting too but Direct as a bigger impact. Just try using the GUI slider and you'll see what I mean
Haven't tried any LOD's from a flora texture overhaul mod like SFO yet so before I do that I will only recommend AOF LOD's with ELE. But I will have a look at SFO's texture pack and see how it looks with ELE, haven't done that since the first version of ELE and the last versions of the EWE iteration.

JawZ..
Check this out http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17984 this adds rocks and grass to the tree lods.
I think is too bright, but there is uncompressed source so you can easily change this.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25
I have looked at every LOD file and AOF tree LOD is the only thing that is necessary to have a better visual experience with ELE.
Here are the LOD mods I would recommend;
HQ LOD, meshes only
Enhanced Distant Terrain 1 & 2, author recommendation.
And the Mesh addition from that mod but not the default textures from it.
So installation would be meshes first, Detailed Terrain and Tree LoD, Enhanced Distant Terrain 1 & 2 and lastly AOF Tree LOD.

That Renn's Detailed treeLod is supposed tp be used with his noise because it has some smaller details like rocks or bushes near the ground level same with noise. I prefer Enhanced Distant terrain 1 and 2 with SFO untill someone decides SFO treeLOD needs an upgrade. Different trees on lod and loaded bother me way more than not fully matching shadow color paint for lods. I use the same setup JawZ recommends but with SFO treeLOD.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25
I wouldn't be a good mod author if I recommend mods I haven't tried yet in combination with my own mod now would i , so until I have seen the changes SFO and those tree LOD's do to ELE I will only through my own experience recommend those mods to be used with ELE.
But of course any user should feel free to experiment as I'm trying to make ELE as compatible with any mod out there as I can and by experimenting and giving me feedback like you did just now Syrophir makes things go faster to make updates

Hehe, can't say how SFO179e treeLOD looks with ELE before seen your ENB at work. I can always use vanilla + ELE but SFO treeLOD does the job fine there. Biggest changes come when ENB shadows and ambient lights kick in.
Vurt tried make his treeLOD a bit more ENB friendly but can't work with every ENB. He even had AOF as an optional for a while but eventualy that ended into the old section, though there is a nice comparison image between SFO and AOF treeLODs on the download page old section of SFO. Too bad there isn't a photoshop file with layers and all for SFO, I wonder if Vurt might still have anything like that..
Sorry, I'm killing the edit button again. Though I'm glad if my nonsense can provide even a little bit of help, just throwing anything that comes to mind out there, even when it comes in rough fragments that require a few edits.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25
Im on the PLS now im not sure how my LOD setup was but i think it's a weired mixture of things since the early days
The biggest issue for me iam so overloaded with mods that i urgently need a search function in NMM to keep any overview i lost it completely, though wouldn't help most probably anyways because of all the different modders constantly clashing into each other
I begged so long @ NMM for a DDS Preview and compare (before you overwrite) and a Search function but nothing happened till today
also im with many mods on very early version levels when it's about environment as i worked most of the time in the character space and optimized mostly everything from their, so yeah i couldn't even tell you what you see in most pictures as i lost totaly track off all the overwrites and clashes
But im sure that the Mountains are AOFs Detailed Mountains but im not 100% sure either because of texture pack overwrites that might have happened over the time
I chose mods mostly by looking @ the author and try to find out his technical skills then i try to mostly stay with 1 author works most the times that works pretty nice until it's clash time

That is why I fell in love with ModOrganizer, so much easier to keep eye on things you have installed and the ability to remove things as easily.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 07/25
According to my NMM i would have installed
High Quality Lods by Ethatron 2.1
-Meshes 2.0
-Normals 2.0
-Textures Skyrim HD 2.0
Enhanced Distant Terrain 1.4 by OpticShoter
@Saberus
Ground Lod sounds really good i think no one else covers this point so far ?
