Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

The groups was just an example of how you could separate the weathers and not something that is "set in stone"

You add groups of weather into the _weatherlist.ini file, usually located in the enbseries folder like this;

Code: Select all

[WEATHER001]
FileName=weather01.ini
WeatherIDs=81a
The 81a id code is for the SkyrimClear weather type.
You can add as many weather id's into one group as you want and you can only have 99 groups of weathers.

Well that goes to show you what I know. (lol) Sorry for giving crap info. I need to leave the technical questions to the pro's. But I think I was partially right, they do end up in the enbseries folder at some point. :P

It seems that 2 catacombs in quest Meridia's Beacon have vanilla lighting.

One of them is Kilkteath Catacombs.

The second is Kilkteath temple

But Volskugge Passages is modified. Right?

Man am I kicking myself for not trying your weathers sooner. Looks fabulous so far. Using all your files now except light bulbs, because I use Relighting Skyrim. I have tried a lot of enb presets lately, even Confidence Mans very nice one, but I always go back to Bronzes Seasons of Skyrim and his True HDR version that incorporates your Interior lighting already. Things look great. So now hopefully I can play the game for a while. :) Looking forward to more of your work. ;)

Discovered weird bug with interior lighting module.

It was happened in Thalmor Embassy...

After deleting ELE-Interior Lighting.esp this was fixed

Also, I use ELFX without Enhancer. No other interior lighting mods.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

Tried ELE - Interiors together with ELFX (exterior only) and Realvision (Performance B). Fantastic result! Much better than the Enhancer imo. Thank you Jawz!

However I have a question: Does the interior module already cover all the dungeons and building interiors? Looking in TES5edit I see you changed a few imagespaces but left others in tact. I believe you are using additional custom templates for dungeons, right?

I don't know much (or anything really) about imagespaces so I was hoping you (or anyone else) could provide a more concrete list which interiors are ' finished' and which ones still need to be fixed with ELE (if any). Thanks in advance!

@ Jawz or anyone who knows.

When using your weathers do we need to enable, EnableMultipleWeathers=false ? In the enbseries ini. Or is that strictly for the enb series weather. :)

Thanks

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

adelinadragonborn;

As far as I can remember it's covered. There may be a mod you have running that make Cell Menu changes which would then make my lighting alterations ineffective. Try loading ELE interior Lighting last in your load order list and see if it helps.

There are just 2 or 3 Worldspaces I have yet to cover because I'm going back and forth on how I should apply the lighting, either have it affected by Weather and weather mods or directly by my Interior Lighting modules. Those World Spaces however are percieved visually as Exterior valley's or "courtyard" classed cells.

Nearox;

Glad you like my lighting improvments.

A few vanilla Imagespaces and Lighting Templates have been altered to introduce ELE "standard" lighting to mods like Falskaar. For vanilla based content and DLC content I only use my own created Imagespaces and Lighting Templates.

Marlboro Man;

No it is not necessary it is only necessary for fine tuning per weather to match your Visual taste.
However ELE - Weather is not yet full complete there are still a bunch of vanilla state weathers in it. I've only changed all weather imagespaces and just a few weathers/"Exterior Lighting Templates".

To All;
Sorry guys/girls for these delayed answers but I don't have access to any internet connection where I currently live and also because a fellow student caused the removal of internet access on the educational program I'm currently attending, a real bitch that one.

--JawZ--
bug with Thalmor Embassy was somehow fixed...don't know how, maybe it's all because of COT and COT related plugins, which I removed recently.

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

Thanks for the explanation, I thought it worked that way. The weather stuff is a little over my head yet, but I am learning more and more each day. And learning a lot from your guides. ;)

Hope you get your internet service back soon, I know how it feels being with out.....sucks. :)
