Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
Hey mindflux, there is a way to get the Flame Atronach glow like in this video for Skyrim SE? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4sdIkP1vus&t=395s watch at 6:29.
I tried to increase the intensity of fire in ENB fire section, but it looks really ugly and i want to achieve what you see in the video, separated to the fire glow.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
You mean the red glow? It's caused by bloom. In general, the tonemapping and post-processing parameters have a significant effect on how everything will look, and that is the case with fire effects in particular. I would say that the preset in the video is pretty low on contrast (intensity contrast in the tonemapper) which helps maintain saturation. If you want to replicate the exact look it's very likely that you will need to do drastic changes to the preset, of course depending how far it is. But the point is that the way the fire atronach looks is not just because of a simple parameter or object property.
The game's looking pretty rad in that video, by the way.

Loading the plugin up in SSEEDIT there seems to be a number of mods that want to override changes in the particle patch.
Is this smash patch dependent then?

The plugin as no longer needed in case you're using the SKSE weather plugin which I guess most are, I'll add a note about that.

Sorry, the ENB particle patch is no longer required? Do i still install the particle patch but disable the ESP plugin then?
Which SKSE plugin do you speak of, is that the ENB helper?

Yes, the weather plugin by aers. I would imagine it also provides interior/exterior value, rendering the particle patch plugin obsolete. So to install, use everything else but do not enable the plugin. It won’t do any harm even if enabled, but is a possible root of conflicts like you already found out.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
Should I let this overwrite the conflicting elfx files?
