Re: Skyrim SSE Water for ENB

Obsidian Weathers. I get the same problem with ENB removed (not just disabled) as well. Though I realize that this mod is specifically designed to take advantage of ENB.

I load ENB water after RW2, however RW2 does not touch these meshes. I have the SSE Particle Patch installed. That is the only mod of mine that touches those meshes.

If I remove Obsidian and go vanilla weathers they resemble closer to yours, thought a bit brighter:

Thanks, I'll try it later.
One, thing I forgot.

When I checked your mod it seemed to me, it's not compatible with Need mods.
If I am true, could you make it please compatible with Need mods? (I guess just you have to flagged like Wavy Waters)

And one more! :D

Wizkid, created a mod:

Underwater Visibility Fix - Wavy Waters version
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... mods/26936

Honestly, I don't remember, how your one looked like. :)
But maybe, for an alternative option, alt. file, etc.. (Hm?!)

Thank You for the update!
ATM, sadly I can't try it...

[WATER]
IgnoreWeatherSystem=true
DisableDistantReflection=true
EnableTemporalAA=true
EnableDispersion=true
EnableCaustics=true
EnableParallax=true
EnableSelfReflection=true
EnableDisplacement=true
EnableTessellation=true
DisplacementQuality=0
TessellationQuality=0
ReflectionAmount=0.75
FresnelMultiplier=0.65
DispersionAmount=0.25
CausticsAmount=0.35
SunSpecularMultiplier=1.0
SunScatteringMultiplier=1.0
WavesAmplitudeDawn=0.5
WavesAmplitudeSunrise=1.0
WavesAmplitudeDay=1.5
WavesAmplitudeSunset=1.0
WavesAmplitudeDusk=0.5
WavesAmplitudeNight=0.25
WavesAmplitudeInteriorDay=1.0
WavesAmplitudeInteriorNight=1.0
Muddiness=0.0

If I will have time... I will make a video to demonstrate, what are settings I found wrong or way to high at your water section.
For instance, WavesAmplitude more than 0.5 from distant can looks weird, "buggy".
I noticed the same if

DisableDistantReflection=true

I made some video about that, maybe I can find where the best to test them...

And the FOMOD is still buggy.
Install just the

Water for ENB.esp (if I check it), and don't install the master file:

Re: Skyrim SSE Water for ENB

Sorry about the installer issue, my fault but should be fixed now. I have no idea what Need mod is but I can take a look, if it's indeed something simple I can of course add it. Which mod is that, specifically?

Spongeman131
To me it seems like you have an outdated version of the particle patch installed since the more recent versions should not affect those meshes. Those were originally a workaround for vanilla effect lighting but they are not required anymore due to the ability to adjust LightingIntensity with ENB.

Notta in particular but I just thought this was a wip

On a side note, I am not sure if this is an issue with SSE Water for ENB but I know with RWT and Wavy Waters and Cathedral Waters with ENB water features enabled you get that LOD water seam. Using ReflectionAmount=1.0 under [water] in enbseries.ini will match the lod water reflection and water reflection making that water seam nearly invisible... it's still there but it's very subtle and you won't notice it unless you're really looking for it.

Is this also an issue in SSE Water for ENB? If so could the same fix apply? or would it mess up reflections?

Yes, this mod will be probably forever wip. There are quite a lot of things to improve but I've been too busy and tired to work on it recently.

And no, I haven't noticed any issues with lod water but I haven't done very extensive testing in many locations either. At least in my game the shading is pretty consistent but of course you can see the seam if you look for it, like you mentioned.

Sorry about the pond water, I updated the mod last time without testing and only now realized I had made a typo. Should be fixed now.

Also added patches for iNeed but didn't test, feel free to let me know in case you notice issues.

Re: Skyrim SSE Water for ENB

Don't use free cam to check the lods, the game will not load data correctly.

Mine look like this (default game prefs) and I doubt I can improve them, at least not significantly:

Updating Particle Patch fixed the problem. Thanks mindflux! They match perfectly now.

Didn't do that.
Not for checking LOD.

See the whole video...

Main looks even better. :)
