I just published an article on my mod's page a few days ago which should help you a lot.

Also you can look at the enchantment patch I just added last night to see how I did it.

This article is familiar to me - I've studied it step-by-step but still no luck modifiyng the "Experimental Laser katana" mod.4109 wrote:I just published an article on my mod's page a few days ago which should help you a lot.

I even tried to copy some light effects from other mods, but I get errors - mayby there is something different in this mod. (I have sucessfully modified other mods)
I need to study this enchantment patch more thoroughly but for now it seems there are all these options and settings that I've already tried to modify countless times with no luck on this particular katana mod.

Have you tried dark smoke, it's mostly invisible at night (as I think smoke should be).

I did actually some years ago when I was thinking about replacing the wood with burning coals, like this:
I don't think burning wood should produce black smoke, or as a matter of fact much of any smoke, as long as the combustion is more or less complete.

I don't really disagree, it's just that the vanilla smoke is bright at night (as it has white emissive color...) and that bugs me.
At the same time, smoke has a gameplay function of "hey there's a fire over here" so I wouldn't completely eliminate it.

True - it's definitely not realistic as it is now, the fires look like steam machines with self-illuminating steam.
Maybe somewhat darker and more transparent would be a good starting point.

Please upload your woodfires and other fires/embershere on enb forum. They look so great. No support expected, no stupid messages from us, everybody on their own.
