Hi, so for my entire lighting set up I have ENBSeries, RudySE, ENB Helper SE Relighting Skyrim SE, ELE SE, EmbersXD SE, Window Shadows, and Ultimate HD Fire Effects SSE. Should I download and install this Particle Patch ?
Sorry I'm a little confused cause I'm new at this somewhat and I notice its like a 7 year old patch, lol So curious if its still relevant. And if so, relevant for me ?
Thanks so much in advance for any help

Sure. It did get started way back when but as the changelog shows, the latest update was this year so it's being maintained, but there just isn't so many things left to adjust anymore.
It's best to install particle first and then let any other mod overwrite it. Most mod authors have implemented the fixes into their assets but you will still benefit from the other fixes, if any.

I've found another issue in SSE. I'm not sure if thats an issue for this patch.
To not waste time, I recorded it:

Could be, but how to reproduce? I couldn't notice anything odd at the same location and weather.

It's may already been fixed with the latest version of the particle patch.
The dimmer fog mod which overwrites fxcameraattachblowingfog.nif and similar things could be the cause.
I try to write the next days if that was the cause.

Not yet able to confirm, but I found another issue. This time with the particle patch overwriting everything but the generated dyndolod data.
I'm not sure if you can fix it, or if it's rather an issue the footsteps mod should fix.

Those are indeed custom meshes of the footstep mod.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
Hi! I'm sorry, i decided not to read 188 pages, i googled it yesterday, and didn't found anything about my issue.
I use Skyrim SE, Latest ENB + ReEngaged Preset from Nexus and ELFX
ELXF adds many fake light beams to windows in interiors
and with ENB (i guess with latest, because last time i builded up skyrim, year or 2 ago, i didn't noticed anything like this)
those light beams looks dark when it night time
I was tried to tweak every parameter in enb menu, and didn't found any that would influence to this exact meshes looks.
So decided to disassembly whole my build to find culprit, and it's turned out to be ParticlePatch
It adds new nifs for those beams (like fxambbeamxbdust_dim01.nif), that ELFX use for windows.
There is some solution for this problem?
And which mods i should exactly overwrite with this?
In description i see, that ultimate hd fire should be overwiten, but there is embers hd in screenshots also, should i overwrite it too?
(i used to overwrite it with everything else, with hd fire and embers too)
This how this issue looks.
And this how it's suppose to be look.

It looks like that mesh is buggy, probably because I didn't have enough time to check every single one in-game. I will take a look.
Embers HD shouldn't be overwritten, it's already contains all particle patch improvements.
