Hi Mindflux, hope you're doing well! Was wondering if there is any way to reduce the interior fog by using/tweaking the particle patch? I've tried several mods from Nexus such as: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ?tab=files and https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ?tab=files but nothing seems to work, still too much fog indoors... Just to make it clear: I dont want to remove the fog completely (Im aware theres available mods for that) I just want to reduce it if thats possible...
Edit: nevermind, I solved it with the help of this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... mods/19917

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
mindflux - can you help me with a mod ?
I have a glowing sword mod that casts light to the surroundings, but only in third person view. I can't figure out how to illuminate the surroundings in first person view also.
There is a sword mod that has first person illumination (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... /mods/4406), but this mod does not illuminate the surroundings in third person. And copying stuff from this mod into my mod does not make the first person view of my mod cast light to the surroundings. Inspecting this mod and applying similar options to my mod doesn't seem to work. Conflicts maybe ?
What should I do ? (using NifSkope)

I'm guessing your glowing sword uses complex particle light to light up the surroundings, in which case I'm afraid it won't work in first person.
I'm also guessing the other sword mod uses a vanilla game shadow caster.

I'm searching for a way to enable both lightning techniques in one mod. It should be possible, there are few objects that do exactly that - like wearable torches.
But for some reason, when I attached torche's light source to my mod, I did get a flame effect, but no illumination of surroundings. It's a bit mystery to me.

It's possible, but requires tinkering with CK. Basically, as far as I remember, you need to create a light effect similar to what those light spells have, and then attach that to the weapon as an enchantment.
But it will only really work as an omni light, otherwise you will get flickering and lights turning on/off as you know.

So, in order to get the illuminating light effect in first person, I need to change the .esp file ?

Yes, you need a custom plugin for that.

Hmm, I'm not good with CK, so is it possible to add third person illuminating light to a mod that already has first person illuminating light ?
(Take such mod as a base, delete original stuff in NifSkope and then add everything from my mod ?)
Or is it better to learn how to do it in CK ? Can I just copy (or create similar) section from one mod to another in CK ? If yes, then where to look ?

Nevermind - I got the first person lighting effects illumination working nicely. (Hard work using CK )
The bad thing about it is that the effect sometimes turns on and off, depending on where I move my character. ( Is it engine limitation with first person light emission ? It does not happen in third person. )

Nicely done! Sorry, no real idea about the first person issue but I assume it could be due to the light caster being outside of the viewport? The light spells do work, so maybe they're something you could use as an example.
