Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
Thanks for the particle and SSS patches - much appreciated! I wonder if you either could make a Dawnbreaker patch that is compatible with Dual Sheath Redux Swords on Back or give info on how to do it? Both change the same meshes.

Glad they were of use. Sure I can help, probably better that I take a look at myself... I don't remember much anymore what I did.

If the result leaves to be desired, blame me and let me know so that I can take a better look.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
Hello, I'm managing the Somber ENB mod page for Tansarville and I noticed something in Valthume with the particle patch installed. I narrowed it down to a particular file: \meshes\effects\ambient\fxambbeamdustbig00.nif. I was able to reproduce the effect by dropping only this mesh into the appropriate folder (all other files from the particle patch, such as textures, were installed). Removing the mesh removes the problem. I'm not using any lighting mods such as ELFX or RLO. This file doesn't replace any existing files when it is installed and I'm pretty sure I don't have any BSAs that include a version of the ambient effect meshes. This issue isn't dependent upon the ENB being enabled (as it can be observed with the ENB disabled), but it does seem to be caused by this particular mesh.
\meshes\effects\ambient\fxambbeamdustbig00.nif INSTALLED
\meshes\effects\ambient\fxambbeamdustbig00.nif REMOVED
I've installed the entire all-in-one particle patch on the first post of this thread and removed this one mesh and I don't see this issue.

No, you're right. It has lost both it's lighting up the sword effect and its pulsating from yellow to orange.mindflux wrote:Hmm does it always look as lifeless viewed from the back? Before my modifications?
Here's the Dual Sheath Swords on Back original:
And here's the one you uploaded:

I've gotten that effect as well on my latest play throughs. Had no idea what was causing it.Maeldun wrote:Hello, I'm managing the Somber ENB mod page for Tansarville and I noticed something in Valthume with the particle patch installed. Maeldun
Thanks for the report, I thought I had already fixed that issue but seems like that specific mesh slipped through the cracks. I will fix it tomorrow. I know, should always test...
What a shitty looking lighting in that Valthume, by the way...
Arkngt
And again, should test... Apparently something went awry. I will take a closer look, but why do you need a dimmed down Dawnbreaker? The vanilla one looks pretty good as-is.
