Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

I saw the comment on the confidence-mans thread and it reminded me I wanted to ask if I could include your mesh, with full credits, in the data file for Somber - is that ok? Many thanks for all the great work!

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

Marlboro Man;

It adjusts imagespace modifiers in the same manner as the Interior Lighting, for more natural colors without any exaggerate cinematic Skyrim post-processing values i.e Brightness, Contrast, White values etc.

Currently only changes the appearance of Night Eye imagespace modifiers, transform into, during and out of Night Vision. It also alters the werewolf vision but that is not looking as I intend it too look in the current release, just experimental at best that one.

Any image change that occurs at specific times and/or by specific actions is an imagespace modifier with it's own values that alters the "static" imagespace set for that specific scene.
For example when you get hit by a Spriggan sometimes the image get's blurred and receives a greenish tone to it or when you get hit by a melee or ranged weapon you get the blurred vision, those are imagespace modifiers also and such things will be altered in the ELE - Special Lighting.

wolfgrimdark;

Yeah sure, go right ahead.

Hello Jawz i have a question for you, i was trying out Confidentman's plugin esp for weathers and imagespaces etc.. and i really liked his distant fog values cause they are bright and clean but in any other aspect i am all for ELE. So i was thinking if i removed his worldspace . image space and region values and kept only the weathers do you think it could work with all the ELE plugins? Something like the old "Revamped Exterior Fog" mod for vanilla weathers but in this case it will be confidentman's plugin for ELE weathers. What do you think?

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

Removing the edits you are talking about will both make the visual to not be any way similar to that of his original one and some of his weathers won't be added.

You can't run ELE -Weathers and ELE Weather addition with Confidence-Man's weather.
Interior Lighting, Light Bulbs, Special Lighting and Spell and Torch lighting modules are the only ones I can think of that can be run together with Confidence-Man's esp file/files

I have too take a look at his esp plugins to be sure what he edits before I can make a definite statement on what can be run together with it.

Alright thanks for the info, one more question if you don't mind. Does the weather list on your beginner preset work with ELE? If not can you point me to the right direction to make my own?

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

The _weatherlist.ini just contains the weather id's and is compatible with any ENB preset and any mod no matter how it's configured.
If you have CoT id's only in the file without having the mod installed it will of course not work, it will create the extra .ini files but you can't make any adjustments because those weathers does not exist without the CoT mod running.

The weather list I have at my Beginner preset is mostly for default vanilla weathers because I assigned them based on the types of weathers and also grouped the darker weathers into one group (Clear_SkyDark) and the bright sky into another group (Clear_SkyBright) so it would be easier to make adjustments without resorting to per weather adjustment but instead rely on a per group of weathers, thus minimizing the amount of needed adjustment but still be able to do more fine-tuning.

Such grouping will not be necessary with ELE, with ELE you can just assign a group per weather type - Clear, Cloudy, Rain, Snow, Sovngarde, BluePalace and "Special weathers".

For weather list id, or you can use Creation Kit to get the weather id's
http://skyrimsearch.com/weather.php

Recommended grouping for ELE;
Clear
Cloudy
OvercastRain
Fog
Snow (Clear and Cloudy Snow(SN) should be in the Cloudy respectively Clear weather group)
SolitudeBluePalace
SkyrimMQ206weather
HelgenAttackWeather
BloatedMansGrottoFog (If I remember correctly this is a weather assigned to an interior cell with the appearance of an exterior valley, still it counts as an interior cell!)
SkyrimOvercastWar
WorldMapWeather (Having this added will prove to be useful (with vanilla state values) as their is a very limited amount of settings functioning in the Map view)
Sovngarde

Or something like that, I can make a more proper assessment once I've actually covered all vanilla weathers with the ELE - Weathers module.

Do not add the id's for the FX weathers as they only affect light bulbs with assigned Emittance values to allow for dynamic color change based on the time of day.

Where exactly I have to put these groups?

They go into the Enbseries folder. :)
