mindflux Maybe you can help me? I have some serious transparency problem with, vanilla, short hair mesh. See image. I'm trying to use it with my Lydia head, but they, sometimes, under specific lighting conditions, are semi-transparent. NPC's hair too. I'm not using any hair mod. Checked properties and vertex alpha transparency in nifskope and found nothing. You are my last hope

But, maybe it's game mesh problem? Especially visible against fog: Screen from v0.219 ![]() default game engine

Hi, First, thanks Mindflux for these fixed meshes. Now I hope someone can please help me with a small problem... One of the meshes - fireplacewood01burning.nif - has only been partially fixed. This mesh is a burning wood fire. The wood has a glow which responds to the ENB [FIRE] settings, but the actual flames do not respond to it. In fact the flames are immune to all ENB settings. If I look at this fire in the game and set everything in ENB to zero (fire, lightsprite, particles, all ENV lighting intensities, volumetric fog, etc etc ALL set to 0) I end up with a perfectly black screen except for these flames, which don't get any brighter or darker. Can anyone fix the mesh or help me fix it so that the flames are controlled by the [FIRE] settings? I have downloaded nifscope and opened the file, but I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I thought maybe there might be something easy like a checkbox called "FIRE" but no such luck. |

CorvoAttano77 Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I will post a fix tonight. Guzio Interesting, are you confident you're not using any mods that might have an effect? |

Scratch that, I had a tomato mesh from somewhere that was causing the problem. |

CorvoAttano77 Where exactly is an example of the problematic fire? I checked the object you mentioned in-game and it seems to respond correctly to [FIRE] parameters. |

I'm restored the original version of Data folder, no mods and only vanilla textures. Still the same bug. Falk Firebeard, Blue Palace, Solitude:

Such artifacts unfixable in most cases, because transparent objects don't have depth or they have, but it's ignored by me to reduce other artifacts. When game and engine not developed for some effects, they are buggy always. |
