Is it possible to apply this effect only to third person camera mode? My personal disposition leads me to avoid applying too many effects that mimic a camera lens in first person, but it's fine to apply them in third person, whereas such effects would create a contrast that could strengthen the illusion that you are looking through a camera lens.

I guess so, with the additional SDK I think. I haven't tried that out yet.Maeldun wrote:kingeric1992

Hi, I was using a much older version of your weather FX (the one with lens flares included as well) and while I think the droplet + normal maps is great, the frost vignetting in this new version is a bit odd for me.
It appears stretched out and not suited to my screen. I am playing at 1920x1080 as usual and it does not do this with the older lens effect file you made/linked here that used enbfrost.bmp
Do you know why by any chance? I can tell by looking that enbfrost.bmp is now superseded somehow and that the focus is enbweather.bmp but that is only for the droplets. Is it one or the other now?

The frost overlay is moved to the alpha channel of enbweather.bmp, it could be the stretching you're experiencing.

Oh that makes total sense, I will take a look in photoshop and whatnot!
One last thing, have you considered making an on-screen ash effect for the Dragonborn ashfall weathers in Solstheim?
I imagine it could just be a clone of the raindroplets but use a different texture/normal map. I could of course just put the ashfall weathers in the weatherlist where rain falls but seeing the droplets would be kind of odd for that.
I know I could also just make an ash-like normal map using the samples you gave and make the "rain" weathers ash instead but I'd like both if possible of course! I made a couple demos of the updated raindrops + normal maps / frost vignette effect using your crazy lens flare file and people have been loving it!
Thank you again for all you've done already, really love using these with my preset!

Love the demo, thanks.
Do you have any pic reference on the ashes overlay?
Normal map shouldn't be required, it is only used to reflect surroundings.
I'm thinking of something like darkend dynamic lens dirt.
Speaking of Solstheim, it is also possible to have location SFX through the location-weather ini that introduced lately.
Also, is there a ashfall weather? IDs?
