What happens? Did you select the right technique in the list? Sometimes ENB is defaulted to DEFAULT technique which doesn't do anything because it doesn't exist.

Just copied enbeffectpostpass.fx to my game folder and edited everything in the .ini file from enbseries folder, but there's no effect in game
then edited enbeffectpostpass.fx itself but still nothing changes
What do you mean by the right technique, and which list?

Shader editor window contain drop down box with technique selection for effect, so you need to be sure there is something set other than "DEFAULT"

It's an old, outdated and buggy version I accidentally leaked with my skyrim se ReShade preset. Why people keep sharing it against my will, idk. Open the file with a text editor and you'll see.
