As requested, I'm uploading my effect.txt
It contains :

- Lens distortion effect (cubic)
- Chromatic aberration applied to the distortion
- Blurry vignette effect to fit the lens effect

Without the effect.txt

With the effect.txt

I'll upload better pics; but feel free to post some better pics as examples; I would appreciate it.
Thank you.

Ha-ha. I'm trying to choose new camera for making textures with it (old is died 3 years ago) and these artifacts makes me crazy after hundreds of images i saw last two days captured with various cameras.

PS: nice avatar, it's you again, i know.

Yeah! That's the point mate; I kinda like it on IV as the game follows the player, I wanted it like a standard camera trying to follow Niko or something like that. Not a 35mm Red Epic-X camera :P
Between about some cameras; I do have a Canon EOS 7D since a while (Job gift) & it does pretty good pics; I can try to upload & pm you some if you want.

This looks really cool! :D

Edit: Did some quick testing and I enjoy the effect when using a super wide FOV. Just one question: is there a way to further reduce blur, or is this a flaw inherent with bicubic distortion? I've disabled all the lens blur stuff and I'm just using the distortion part.

Reduce chromatic aberration, or disable it (value to 0)

For what games does this effect work? IV, skyrim or maybe GTA SA?
I can't test it out right now.

It's a multipass shaders ,It will work on GTA IV and Skyrim since they support Multipass effect.txt
but it wont exactly work on GTA SA (as in ,you can only use either vignette blur part or lens distortion and chromatic abberation together or boris's default sharpening-which is included )

What do I need to change to get lens distortion and chromatic abberation together working in SA?
I'm beginer with shaders...So that's the main reason why Bokeh dof doesn't really work with SA (There's only motion-blur style effect around)

Another thing, is this SSAO shader multi-pass shader or single pass? http://devlog-martinsh.blogspot.com/search/label/SSAO

Where I can learn more about shaders and where I can find info about making shaders for effect.txt
