CruNcher wrote:You don't need external Post Proccessing to get this Sharpnes from a blurry image you can do it via a Sharpen Pass in ENB directly using any Sharpening Algorithm either Pre or Post Sharpening the current one is a very basic Sharpen Filter though, also Post Sharpening is almost always preferable. In the first place of course you should try to avoid to need any Sharpening ;)
Im also using ENB sharpening but im taking the screenshots @ 1440p so i need some unsharp mask after resizing them.

Too much sharpening hurts my eyes when im in-game and that's why i apply more post-sharpen after.

There are better methods but im using these steps since i cant remember

Hmm then your resize (downsampling) algorithm is not really efficient if you still need to sharpen it afterwards

enb output->sharpen->downsampling->sharpen

sounds strange

Change "i need" for "i like" to sharpening them after resizing.

Re: TES Skyrim

I'm starting to wonder if patch 1.7 is causing these issues. I'm getting purple shadows at night regardless of skylighting settings.

Could be your directional ambient settings, have you modified them with the ck? Try setting "Z-" to a very light blue and "Z+" to a dark, less saturated blue.

And concerning sharpening, I think it's always a dilemma, if you use it you get aliasing ingame no matter what, especially on the vegetation. But charachter textures and other object surfaces look a lot better imo and it also helps to get rid of the overall bluriness most modern games have.

Re: TES Skyrim

Has anyone tried playing with Climates of Tamriel? I mean, does it really improve weather and stuff as it says it does? Is it making weathers and atmosphere better? Or is it just another lighting mod?. What does it actually do to the weather that is not already there?

Re: TES Skyrim

Well, I'm playing with CoT.
It simply adds more weather conditions to the game. So its no "other lighting mod".
It somtimes collide with my HD sky texture, so it looks awful then - but not always.
There are over 70 weather conditions in vanilla skyrim, so yet I haven't really noticed the new ones.
I wouldn't download it again. The best maybe, that wind sound more like wind - but that can also be a result of "Sounds of Skyrim".

Re: TES Skyrim

Finally went and downloaded Matso's bloom fix, makes a huge difference ;) Snowstorms are very dark for me though--but mostly due to my dark fog values (around me is nice and relatively clear). Thinking of weakening direct lighting curve as its rather strong at times (sunset mainly) or may keep it as is and save the 'fix' for when I'm happy and try adjust it in the CK as its weather/location specific issues.

SSAO/IL set to 0 atm while I adjust lighting to maximize performance (been spending the pastweek testing heavily on adjusting lighting with enbeffect variations for very clear images and Matso's just really helped out a ton for what I have been trying for and with less of a performance hit).

Posting quite a few as took a lot while testing different areas--won't be doing this many again any time soon. Just apologizing now for it as will save me the trouble later.
