Yes I wouldn't recommend a 660ti at this moment, not for ENB anyway, the bus width for the memory has been butchered to 192bit. I was going to get one but the performance drops are too much for the price they're asking.

I was considering a 7950, but I keep reminding myself of AMD drivers etc.. and anyway, I'm an Nvidia fanatic LOL.

I've finally decided to keep my GTX 460 for now, I just bought Metro 2033, set it to dx11 and High settings and it ran at 60-40fps mostly. Never dropped below 35. I had a GREAT experience, the graphics were great, and the game ran 100% smooth. That game made me realise just how much life my old 460 has left in it.

I'm waiting for the gtx 7xx series for now.

Cheers for the advice =) think ive settled on the evga gtx 670 ftw 2GB card... when i can afford it :'(

Interior do not have skylight, because mostly don't need it, fire or candle is point light source, there are no surrounding lighting (as sky) which must be darkened. Lights do not have ambient color, it's only globaly assigned, but i can't compute ambient for each light from their color, because nobody garantee that light will stop casting shadow and starts to be visible on other side of walls. Plus, performance for 4 lights with skylighting is horrible (it's like ssao*4).

Dont think so Kali.

Only if it is included in the Skyrim Realistic Overhaul mod from Nexus.

I think the main factor as to the reason why it looks great, is because of the indirect/ambiant lighting.

@icelaglace: Your first pic looks really really nice!

@kalicola: Thank you very much! I don't want to copy them I just need some start point for the adaption from which I can optimize it for my config. :D

Nice stuff icelaglace... that water looks so real. I think some of those early water textures (which I think some of those are [?]) were better than the newer ones, though they were a bit buggy, if I remember correctly.

Looks promising, icelaglace - I like the neutral tones you're going for.

It's been a bit of a hiatus for me as I finally upgraded my system and had to reinstall Windows since it wouldn't fire up with the new stuff. It's somewhat puzzling that now Skyrim with ENB looks way different from what it used to even though I copied over all the Skyrim settings as well as the Nvidia Inspector profile. It's especially weird since the GPU and the display is the same as earlier. Now who knows how it should look like...
