Re: TES Skyrim

@mindflux
Looks great! The gamma might be a bit low, but I can imagine the darker shadows :) Also, have you tried that HBAO prepass file Portal2x2 posted in the FNV thread? You can use it for black level adjustment to get really deep shadows without resorting to ridiculous AO levels.

Re: TES Skyrim

Agreed, looks great mindflux!

On a side note, I managed to get my "multiple parameter sets" enbeffect up and running. Using keyboard control, it allows me to switch up values on the fly.

I currently use it for setting:

Day/Night - default (night and day settings are lerp'd based on NightDay factor
Inside - use it for interior locations - places small white triangle in top left corner of screen when active
Dungeon - use it for dungeon locations - places small white triangle in top right corner of screen when active

Not sure how useful this is to anyone but if interested drop me a PM and I will send you a version that you adapt to your particular enbeffect configuration. I fear its pretty amateurish code but it works.

Re: TES Skyrim

Thanks, guys.

No trillville, I haven't tried the HBAO prepass but you made me intrigued, I have to give it a go soon. SSAO and shadows in general are a bit problematic because while I like dark shadows the pine foliage easily gets too dark to be realistic and just yucky looking in general. Other than that, I want all the SSAO I can cram in for my interiors :lol: Sadly once again it looks like I need dive into CK if I want to have any hope make my setup work even satisfactory, but I don't know...

Nice initiative with the keys, Dinkledorf! Sounds useful if you're screenshotting or actually playing the game.

Re: TES Skyrim

A bit of work on indoor settings, a work in progress but I am liking where its going. Decided that me and AO are not getting along too well, disabled for now.

@Confidence Man

Can we get a link to your current WIP? Are you using ENB Weather?

Re: TES Skyrim

I haven't been posting a lot lately, but I've been chekcing this thread every now and then and I have to say I really like Opeth's, mindflux's and unreal's shots, they're gorgeous.
Some random shots from me, nothing really new because I'm still working on finishing the overcast weathers. I really hope that I'll be able to finish this settings soon, but I don't have much spare time on my hands lately :/ .

OT: @mindflux: I did watch the map presentation and I really like where armored kill is going, I can't wait to play the new maps.
