Re: TES Skyrim

Hello guys, I have little question - what is governs intensivity of foam? After my messy overall adjustments it become too gray, or sometimes black.

Brilliant stuff, the sunlight effect looks very convincing.

I'm not sure there's an easy solution. As far as I've noticed it's mostly the general brightness and contrast settings that affect the waterfall foam and similar effects, so you probably need to increase the brightness of your setup and then adjust all the other settings accordingly.

Re: TES Skyrim

Yeah I had to jack my brightness levels way up to get that back to white, then tone everything else down. I edited the Effect Lighting in all the weathers to make it pure white during daylight (they're darker and colored slightly by default), but even that wasn't enough.

Agreed with Confidence-Man - looks just superb especially at night. It's always great to see someone try something new. I think you can achieve pretty much the same result by some tweaking of enbbloom.fx, perhaps as easily as simply using fairly high intensity and extremely low radius? Whatever the case, might be worthwhile to test for those not wanting to rework their whole lighting scheme.

I haven't had time to check out your config yet, but looks damn good. Hats off for sharing your setup even when you feel its unfinished, I think I'll have to do the same - seriously :D

Cool shots, everyone! Good to see you back with some of your gorgeous shots, gionight.
Thank you :)
And about the bloom, you can achieve a similar effect by editing bloom.fx, but the thing is that it will brighten the image up, no matter what radius you've set and it is almost impossible (at least on my setup) to get that bloom at night and I'm not 100% sure about this, but it seems like there are a lot more objects affected by bloom. Now everything that has a proper specular map will have a more noticeable bloom, especially at night, but without that foggy look you normaly get when using a very bloomy setup.

@DogStar: really nice screenshots!

@zzz: Like mindflux and confidence_man already have said, it's the brightness levels that cause this, I have the same issue too but haven't done anything a bout it yet.

Kudos to Boris for making bloom better! I think it should be included into default ENB, it improves the bloom look a lot.

Why dont you try using original game colour correction, changing vanilla bloom with ENB bloom, but at the same time youll be able to set bloom threshold in CK(in other words, you can change the amount of objects receiving bloom dynamically: day,dawn,dusk,night + set bloom radius for them individually).

I'm not quite sure, but shouldn't changing this:

r2=tex2D(_s3, _v0);//enb bloom
// r2=tex2D(_s1, _v0);//skyrim bloom

to

// r2=tex2D(_s3, _v0);//enb bloom
r2=tex2D(_s1, _v0);//skyrim bloom

in enbeffetc.fx, allow me to use the threshold set in the ck?

Re: TES Skyrim

New bloom is pretty damn sweet. I got it to look pretty awesome like TAZ. Only problem is when i use a lightning spell, then it goes CRAZY! :-(

New 0.119 is amazing! Thanks Boris!!

Re: TES Skyrim

How can we set color/saturation for interiors only? I was using saturation settings in my enbeffect.fx file to increase the amount of color outside during the day, but with 119 this now changes the amount of colors in interiors as well and as a result interiors are oversaturated (tending towards too red .... )

Is there a way to set sat for interiors only?
