Re: TES Skyrim
I am currently running ugrids=7 on Win XP + CoreDuo + 580GTX, works fine but I cannot use hi res textures due to memory restrictions of WinXP. Runs very stable with almost all situations maxing my cap of 40 FPS. It will definitely "ruin" your save game as once you cross the line, there does no longer appear to be a way back so keep a copy just in case if you do end up going that way.ramoncosta wrote:how many of u guys are using uGrids=7 or more and didnt have any game crash or game save lost .. i want to change mine but im afraid it might ruin my save .
im runing 3570k + 670 , so .. i think my pc can handle it .
@ everybody, lol.
Excellent shots guys!
Been working on nights a bit, a couple of day time throw in as well.

Re: TES Skyrim
I just tried the updated HD6 file you posted and enb works but now everything is way too dark .... ?--JawZ-- wrote:Did you use the ones in the dowload link I posted here earlier? If so, they have incorrect coding. The latest and working Interior seperation files can be found here -> JENB Creations ENB Presets under the download page, the file you want is called "Enbeffect files prepared for v0119 Update 4"

Thanks for the upload, Kalicola!kalicola wrote:Thanks. Here's the config that I took the colorfull shots with. Give it a go, and please let me know what you think.. And of course, I don't have to tell you that it is very much a work in progress, and it is not even close to finished righthaints wrote: Will you put up download of this config so I can see how it looks on my system?

Unfortunately on my system your config looks a lot different than it does in your screens. Bright areas are completely blown out in direct sunlight--like my characters hand when I'm holding a sword is just glowing white ... does not look like your screens. I've seen this before trying other configs so maybe there is a problem on my end?

Re: TES Skyrim
Haints: my game brightness slider is placed in the middle as default, and I don't use any lighting plug-ins whatsoever, exept further dark dungeons. So make sure URWL, climates of tamriel or realistic lighting is turned off.. I'm sure you'll already done that, just saying..
I have toned down lighting in my newest version (latest screenshots), will upload it in a few minutes.. Also I constantly testing my mod out on my computer at work, to make sure that it look the same on both machines.
Last thing. Make sure to copy all the files. I used to keep my own dof settings when trying out other configs, but have later learned that IT too can change overall brightness of the game. Same goes for the bloom file..
If none of this helps, then I don't know
Dinkledorf: you musthave an extremely bright monitor, cause you night shots are 97% black on my screen. I also checked on my Iphone with max brightness, can just barely sense the environments. And the fire looks a bit too dim too... Unless this is what you want ofcourse
Opethfeldt: I don't know how you are doing this. The feeling of GI is unmatched. But it's too contrasty if you ask me. The sunlight is blown out, and the shadows are very dark. But I like it very much, it's definatly a very unique config you have created.. And I need to check out your SSAO and skylight settings, cause they look spot on!
Great GI look

Re: TES Skyrim
@Haints;
I have used the default values of the HD6 enbeffect.fx 11-4 values. You have to change some settings in the PP 5, for it to work with your preset you know
Rember HD6 enbseries.ini settings had the bloom at 1.8 or something like that, which adds a lot of brightness to the scene.
The only thing I have changed from it's default values is this;
float2 hndtweak = float2( 1.5 , 1.5 );
The nigh tsettings used to be at 3.1, 1.5 (first one is the nights) And thought it would be better to normalize that value. As not alot of people knew about that (I learnt it from Mindflux a couple of days ago )
EDIT;
I assumed HD6 had disable the adaptation commands, based on this comment above those commands;
EDIT 2;
Have uploaded the fix now at my preset.

Which wasn't true he still uses it :S So have to upload a new update, so that will be fixed. That was causing the darkness.HD6 wrote:// HD6 - Adaptation is now ignored by my choice

Re: TES Skyrim
Now we know why Hayssam "Iceglace" flew to NZ hes gonna work on something very hot http://raytracey.blogspot.com/2012/09/h ... joins.html http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=23532 after Otoy bought Octane (Refractive Software) and Brigade (Jacco Bikker) presented Brigade 2 on the Siggraph this year, he's now gonna work on the Post Effects for the Renderer.
Julian Urbach (http://www.mobygames.com/game/hell-cab) was one of the first who began working on Real-Time Path Tracing GPU (ATI) (Transformers TV Spot) (Cloud supported) when he presented it combined with Light Stage (Debevecs Research) it was a massive industry blow the latter released whitepaper of Otoy showed he was working on something really massive) and currently he is on the Run for talented people it seems @ Boris
I wonder how the Asian guys react on this they still have no Cloud system though some nice renderer, i wonder if Haysaam can be at least as good as Yebis 2 also
