Black Mesa 0.076a

Black Mesa (Half Life 1 remake)

Graphic mod ENBSeries 0.076a

This is modified version for Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines, disabled per object processing like bump and fake reflection, but DOF and SSAO/SSIL working. Quality of SSAO is increased if compare with old versions, but everything else is the same. Bad side is that performance is very depend from screen resolution (as in all old versions). I don't think this game need exclusive complex modification, it's not for long time playing.

Re: Black Mesa 0.076a

thanks Boris, Black Mesa is probably the best mod of the year, I'm reviving very good moments.

When Xen and multiplayer will release I think will be a very long time played :D

Thanks for your work Boris

Re: Black Mesa 0.076a

Hi Boris,

It seems the SSAO effect for this ENB is causing some aliasing issues. This is distinct from the 'flickering' artifact that is common for SSAO effects.

Here us a screenshot:

Is there anything that can be done about this?

Re: Black Mesa 0.076a

Yes, i remember this issue in some old mods, it appear in most cases when antialiasing enabled and because of normal generated from depth. But don't remember how fixed that. I'll check when will play Black Mesa (i forgotten about lovely headcrabs, better to drop the job and to play).

Re: Black Mesa 0.076a

Heheh, yes it is fun to exterminate those pesky crabs

Maybe Half-Life 3 will come some day, in 2028 perhaps?

Also, I saw on Facebook you were considering making a 'complex version' of ENB for the source SDK 2007 engine. I would like that :)

Your work on the mod is appreciated.

Re: Black Mesa 0.076a

Very nice. I was just trying Black Mesa with the Half Life 2 ENB yesterday. Happy to see a Black Mesa ENB to try instead.

This is old version, so dof is not external shader and it works, i tested it myself (but forgot to try with aa enabled). Tweak it blurring range in enbseries.ini

Re: Black Mesa 0.076a

@ Boris

My mistake... I had one of your older d3d9.dll files in my bin folder @_@

DoF works, and there is no aliasing issue with the SSAO.

Re: Black Mesa 0.076a

Have this version config reload function? (by default BACKSPACE key in Fallout/Skyrim enb)

@Boris
Thank you that made it possible to graphic enhance good old (and not so old) games).
