Haints: They look pretty black to me although hard to tell just 'how' black they are meant to be. Looks naturally dark anyways on my side.

Ah, thanks eldyraen! I'd say "naturally dark" is exactly the look I was going for. Problem is that since most monitors are calibrated differently, with no universal standard, you never know how one of your images is going to look on someone else's setup ...

Haints, the shadows to me look perfectly fine, no washed-out look or anything, so good job :P

Sometimes the AI gets stuck, most people doesn't understand the complexity of it me neither yet but it's real complex ;)

a lot in Skyrim remembers me about the good old Looking Glass times so much ahead of it's time ;)

@haints
Gionight, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT YOU HAD REFUSED TO RELEASE YOUR CONFIG!

So, please explain how my comment could possibly have been "obviously addressed" to you
Even if you didn't know it, it's still doesn't gives you right to call me or any other member here a Dick or use some other bad wording .
Just can't stand this kind of behaver no matter where be it Internet or real life.
I spent almost all my free time recently to adjust ENB and make that pics for everyone to enjoy, and I don't think I deserve such a harsh response .
Think about it.

I have thought about it, Gionight. I explained my thinking in my prior post on this subject.

Boris created ENB. He gives it away to everyone for free. Now let's say "Bob" takes it, makes some changes, and repeatedly posts screenshots of those changes, seeking admiration from others. Someone else comes along, and says: "Hey Bob, those screenshots look great! Can I try your config?" and Bob says: "No, you can't try it. I'm not going to share it with anyone." ... even though the only reason Bob has a config in the first place is because Boris chose to share his own work. So ... what else would you call Bob but a dick? Or, if you don't like bad words, then how about "selfish?" You would have to agree that "Bob" is being pretty selfish, no?

Seriously, I want to know, Gionight, since you say you are one of these people who won't share their config. What justification is there for refusing to share something that someone else shared with you? Something that you innitially got for free and that you will not lose if you share with others?

How does it hurt you, to share?

And if you really aren't going to share, if it is really all for yourself... then why not just keep it all to yourself? Why post screenshots seeking the envy and admiration of others?

I just don't understand this.

Re: TES Skyrim

Tweaked my old config a bit to make it look good with CoT (still running on 0.112Kage).

There's a flip-side to this argument as well, of course. These guys are spending countless hours of their free time working on crafting beautiful screenshots and lighting. It may be from a free source, but that doesn't mean their work from it should also be free when they've put so much time into it. Epic has a free version of their Unreal engine - that doesn't mean anything created with the open source Unreal should therefore be free for everyone else to enjoy. Scirra Construct is a free engine I'm using to make a game myself - that doesn't mean I should be forced to sell my game for free.

Yes, Gionight and Unreal wouldn't be posting shots like this at all if it wasn't for Boris. But that's not reason enough to say that they MUST release their work for others to enjoy. They are releasing screenshots for others to enjoy, and god damn it I really do enjoy them. Especially Unreal's. But I'm not magically entitled to their work for free, just because the source was free. That's not very mature, and is actually quite rude.
