Using all effects except SSAO. SMAA also being used. Performance is down.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.120 beta

@Proto :
2 FPS ?..... :)
Well, in some areas, you'll loose 2 FPS, in other areas, you'll win 2.... or a bit more..... or a bit less.
Aren't you ready to sacrifice 2 FPS for new effects and better quality ?
Yet, it's a beta version.
Remember 0.117 to 0.119, I had bad results with 0.117, and all went perfect with 0.119 (didn't upgrade from 0.113 before, even swapped 0.114).
Just to say....

Proto
2 fps loss probably to render second render target (deffered), nothing bad. And this version is not for performance testing.

I don't know where "Windhelm", so can't test myself. If anyone else can simulate the bug, make savegames (for me most of saved games do not work, because of skyrimprefs.ini not modified and mods not installed).

Re: TES Skyrim 0.120 beta

I think console "coc windhelm" will take you there.

Don't have any changes with this command.

Boris, try "coc windhelmdocksexterior01" - that should take you to the docks where I believe the screenshot was taken at.

I'm facing some real life struggles and haven't had time to check out the new beta yet, but from what I've seen it looks promising. Definitely a next step for Skyrim ENB.

Not sure why the smiley face? perhaps your system is much better than mine but I'm not here to play with my epeen so no need for arrogance, in any case 2 fps also translates to 5% and in this case going from 38 fps to 40 fps is quite considerable. Also from my testing performance is down and there's more stuttering everywhere, clearly I haven't tested every location but the additional render level/procedure seems to not be optimised yet especially as the description mentions changes to ssao exclusively and I have no ssao in use in this particular comparison.

The intention of my post was to aid with analysis, which is the purpose of testing with a beta. Let's not stifle people from posting there findings by blowing them off, please.

Just posting my findings. Thanks for the clarification.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.120 beta

@proto ;
arrogance ? Wow...
Nothing to do with the system and there was no arrogance in my post.
Just wanted to say that a - + 2 FPS is a small variation for a new beta with a new rendering process, that's all.
I'm really sorry you took this for arrogance, that wasn't meant to, since I'm everything but arrogant....
I also noticed that slight FPS loss, but on my side there is less stuttering. Guess it depends on settings as well.

@Boris :
well, no problems so far. Compared to 0.119, just had to decrease AO amount a bit and increase IL amount.
No bugs or other things, no particular artifacts.
AO is deeper and IL seems more detailled on skins.
If you say details and performance are still not optimized, I'm really waiting for the next step.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.120 beta

I guess this is a better place to discuss this so I copy my post from the screenshot section:
ENBSeries wrote:Opethfeldt
Did you tried 0.120 ssao+ssil in ice locations? On screenshot i see artifact of old ssao with polygonal normals, so result should be much better with new.
Yes Boris, those screenshots were a bit old and taken with 0.119. Here is the same iceberg with 0.120:

same settings, SSIL fast mode.

0.120

Seems like IL is more obvious in 0.119?, even with very high ILAmount in 0.120. Notice the shadowed areas.
